Japan's largest! Metal 3D printer demonstration and technical seminar will be held.

On September 9th, NIDEC Machine Tools held a demonstration of its metal 3D printers and a technical seminar at its "Machine Tool Technical Center" in Ritto City, Shiga Prefecture.

The demonstration included a tour of the assembly site of the "LAMDA2000," which supports one of the largest build sizes in Japan, and a demonstration of the "LAMDA500," which is capable of 5-axis control. The technical seminar introduced the latest technological trends, including additive manufacturing technology for large parts, AI-powered control technology, and the forefront of practical applications.

Participants commented that they "realized how manufacturing will become more efficient in the future."

The event aimed to deepen their understanding of technologies different from machining and to give them a sense of the new possibilities that metal 3D printers bring to manufacturing sites.
