Nidec's Qingdao Industrial Park in China has achieved carbon neutrality in just one year since commencing operations.

At the Qingdao Industrial Park, which produces motors and electronic components for household use, we successfully reduced CO2 emissions by approximately 12,000 tons—equivalent to the emissions of about 7,300 average households—by introducing state-of-the-art, high-efficiency equipment and utilizing 100% renewable energy sources such as solar panels.

Nidec will continue to promote decarbonization at all of its locations worldwide, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society while balancing environmental protection and business growth.
