Based on the results of the quality investigation committee report released the previous week, on September 7th, President Kishida and CQO Kuribayashi inspected the production sites at Pinghu Industrial Park, a major production base in Zhejiang Province, China.
In particular, at the NIDEC Automotive Motor (Zhejiang) factory, which is advancing the automation and centralization of quality and production management through the use of IT technology and data, they are pursuing a data management system that prevents human error and intentional manipulation. This process will be further improved and expanded to the entire group in the future.
Furthermore, a roundtable discussion was held with local employees to directly exchange real opinions from the field. Through bottom-up dialogue that gathers voices from the field, we will further accelerate reforms to our corporate culture, systems, and production processes.
